  In Thailand, a new surveillance program will test 100,000 people for Covid-19 infection by the end of June.
The test will be performed nationwide and will focus on those who work in professions and public areas which are easy to expose to the virus, and those living in crowded communities. It will increase health authorities’ ability to gauge the pattern of the pandemic.

In Tunisia a military mobile testing laboratory has increased the country’s testing capacity.
The mobile microbiological laboratory which is managed by the Directorate General of Military Health was mobilized to increase testing in ‘virus clusters’. The laboratory has thus far focused its testing on military personnel and their family members, health workers, and essential workers.
