In South Sudan, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and government have set up an emergency Covid-19 call centre.
South Sudanese can now dial the toll-free number of 6666 for Covid-19 information and to report suspected cases. The call center will work in conjunction with the Ministry of health’s rapid response team and will receive support from the UNDP, UNICEF, and WHO.

In South Sudan a youth group is tackling misinformation on Covid-19.
The project was initiated by #DefyHateNow a community-based organization. They have created an online fact-checking platform 211 check where people can submit content for their fact-checkers to verify. The main aim of the platform is to counter misinformation and disinformation around Covid-19.
