The Namibian Ministry of Education has directed teachers to start uploading lessons onto WhatsApp for parents to download and teach their children at home during the country’s lockdown. Concerns have been raised about whether students have Internet access and the devices needed to access the materials. The Ministry says special provisions will be made for students who did not have access to online learning when schools reopen.
