In Brazil, former inmates sew masks against Covid-19.
These taylors work at Estamparia Social, a micro-company created by former inmates, in São Paulo. Some masks were purchased by the NGO Sê-los to be donated with hygiene material to employees and inmates of a Hortolândia penitentiary in the countryside.

In Chile, inmates sew prevention masks against Covid-19.

A non-profit organisation African Masks distributes cloth masks in several countries across Africa.
This venture is supported by crowdfunding. Teams of volunteers distribute cloth masks to the most vulnerable and populated communities in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Kenya, Senegal, Benin and Nigeria.
