In France, a platform connects local agricultural producers and distributors to help them sell their products.
The initiative named “Jeaileproducteurlocal” (meaning “I have a local productor”) emerged due to the sanitary restrictions imposed by the French government on the distribution of agricultural products during the pandemic.

In Spain, the Federation of Rural Women’s Associations (FADEMUR) and Red Eléctrica mapped small-scale food producers to distribute meals to those in need.
The campaign #Alimentos_solidarios (meaning “solidarity food”) distributed 12,000 liters of milk, 2,814 of eggs or 62,200 fruits that otherwise would in small Spanish towns from April 6 to May 8. The Union of Small Farmers and Ranchers (UPA) mapped and contacted the producers and the food was delivered by NGOs…
