In Senegal the government has pledged to provide food aid to 1 million families affected by Covid-19.
Each household will receive food packages consisting of 10 kilograms of rice, 10 kilograms of sugar, 10 litres of oil and 18 pieces of soap. The estimated price of each package is US$ 109. By supporting households the government believes they will reach approximately 8-10 million people.

In Poland, malls reopened with a limit of only 1 person per 15 m2 at shop.
The guidelines also state that the food court should be separated with a visible and physical barrier. The country began relaxing the lockdown restrictions in April and early May, as it allowed hotels, kindergarten and malls to open. Restaurants and hairdressers reopened on May 18.

Vilnius, Lithuania, is experimenting with some giant outdoor bars to help deal with social distancing.

In Bolivia, the police are teaching in Quechua language how to properly use gloves and masks.

In Argentina, the government imposed maximum prices for essential goods during the pandemic.
Products range from basic food ingredients like oil, rice or flour to hygiene products like gel alcohol. The measure was established on March 19 after detecting the general increase in the cost of certain products.and has been extended until May 20.
