In Brazil, the Bolivian community, the largest group of immigrants living in São Paulo, created the Bolivia Solidária.
This is a project to deliver basic food baskets to socially vulnerable families. Behind the initative there are volunteers and immigrant associations. One of the institutions is called Health Impact and it is offering psychological assistance via videoconference or WhatsApp.

In California, the government will give cash to undocumented migrants during the pandemic.
An estimated two million people live in the state without documents, which means they are not eligible for the Coronavirus stimulus package approved by the federal government in late March. In Portugal, the government temporarily granted migrants and asylum seekers full citizenship.
This measure will ensure undocumented people access the national health service, bank accounts and work and rental contracts, until at least 1 July 2020. The Portuguese Council of Ministers explained that the decision was made to reduce public health risks of maintaining the appointments at the immigration office.
