In Colombia, DiDi, a private transport platform, announced an investment of 300 million pesos (about €70,000) for thousands of free trips of health workers in Bogotá and Medellín.
Similar initiatives have taken place around the world for frontline healthcare professionals, such as free taxis in Rome, Barcelona, Madrid or Munich.

In Turkey, the government provides free transportation for health workers and pharmacists.
It includes the public transportation services such as Baskentray (Ankara suburban), Marmaray (the intercontinental commuter rail line in Istanbul) and Izban (the commuter rail line in İzmir). In some Turkish cities, including Istanbul, Ankara or Tunceli, in the east of the country, some hotels are also allocated to healthcare staff.

France is using its intercity high-speed rail service as ambulances to transport critically ill coronavirus patients.
