Kenya provides financial support for athletes during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Kenyan government has set aside 100 million shillings (US $ 940,000) to assist athletes affected by Covid-19 and canceled or postponed sporting events. So far a total of 1500 athletes have been identified as needing financial assistance. Each athlete will be assisted with food packages and US$100.
