In Cuba, “Yo si te creo” movement is helping women victims of domestic violence.
The group of activists and experts against gender violence has provided a WhatsApp number to help women during the Covid-19 pandemic. Victims receive psychological assistance and legal advice. There is a protocol to handle each type of case.

In Brazil, women come together to help other women pay their household bills.
They help to pay utilities bills such as water, electricity and gas to families with financial difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They are mothers who are part of the Maternashop group. They receive requests for help, they analyze the cases and they collect the money.
