In Japan, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son said he is going to bring in 300 million masks per month from China.
He has reached a deal with the Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD Co. Ltd., which is able to make masks. Starting in May, Softbank will supply masks to medical staff masks in collaboration with the Japanese Government.

`In Hungary, NGOs call the Council of the European Union for measures, including a hearing on the situation in Hungary and monitoring its use of EU funding.
They consider that Viktor Orban’s government is using the pandemic to restrict human rights and erode the rule of law. These non-profits include Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Open Society European Policy Institute, International Federation for Human Rights, International Commission of Jurists and Reporters Without Borders.
